Understanding Automated System Course Messages

When you create a schedule and launch a new course, there are several types of automated messages a user will/might receive during their enrollment. In this article we outline the primary ones they receive and when.

Activation Message - This message is sent to the user 15 minutes before their enrollment is scheduled to start to notify them what they're being enrolled in and to welcome them to the course. It will include the channel name you've chosen to send from, the introduction message from your course followed by our system message.

EXAMPLE:

🎯 This course is tailored to help you understand how stress affects you, identify where it comes from, and build strategies to control it.

System Message: Expect to get your messages weekdays around 10:30AM EDT. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or SUPPORT for help.

Response Reminders - Friendly response reminders are sent to encourage learners to respond to their lesson engagement questions one hour after they have received them if there has been no response. These can be toggled on or off in the schedule settings.

NOTE: This setting is independent from the required response setting which can be switched on to ensure users must answer the question before proceeding to the next lesson.

EXAMPLE:

It looks like you haven't responded to your lesson yet! To continue your course, please respond soon.

If they do not respond after the first reminder one will be sent each day following. If the learner has not responded to a lesson after 5 days, the course is automatically paused and they receive the following message:

⏸️ We've paused your activity to respect your time.

Ready to resume? Reply 'RESUME' and let's pick up where we left off. Your next step awaits!
