First, you'll need to retrieve your Slack Team ID.
NOTE: Connecting Slack will import ALL Slack users in your channel to your Arist account. This does not mean all will receive training unless they are enrolled in a specific course. You can further manage and organize your users by segmenting them into cohorts once the integration is completed successfully.
For Slack Enterprise Grid users:
Go to the Slack Admin Center.
Click on Workspaces in the left-hand menu.
Select a specific workspace from the list.
The "T" workspace identifier is often visible in the URL of the workspace settings page:
https://admin.slack.com/workspaces/TXXXXXXXXX
For most Slack Teams:
If you open Slack in your browser you should be able to find your Team ID in the URL.
The easiest way to do this is to go to workspacename.slack.com and the URL with your Team ID should populate in the URL bar. To find your Workspace name in Slack, click on your header in the top left corner of the Slack App take the URL from there and enter it into your browser's URL bar:

Your team ID will be a string of numbers and letters starting with T. If you copy the entire workspace URL and submit it to us, we will take care of the rest!
****Your team ID should look something like this: TCXS5U4AS you can also just send the team ID if you want.
Next Steps:
Go to Settings in your left navigation, then click Delivery Methods. From here you can enter your Slack workspace URL or team ID and click Save.

Important Final Step: The link above the input text box will change to an authorization link. Click this link to finalize your Slack integration.
From here, your Slack contacts should populate in Arist, and a Cohort of these will be made with the word 'Slack' in the title. You can now enroll these contacts in Courses to be delivered through Slack!
