Overview

Arist has developed a secure connector using Workato*, a leading integration platform, to facilitate the sharing of selective employee data from UKG Pro with Arist. This integration aims to enhance the capabilities of Arist's learner records by incorporating relevant employee information.

With this connection:

• Selective Data Sharing: Customize the employee data you wish to share with Arist, such as Employee ID, Title, Location, and other fields from UKG Pro Person Details.

• Initial Manual Import: A one-time manual import of UKG Pro Employee users into Arist.

• Automated Data Updates: The connector automatically updates Arist's records based on specific events allowed: updated employee details, record creation, and employee terminations.

Initial Employee Data Sync

Once you determine what data you wold like to share with Arist, you have two options for an initial import:

1. CSV Upload: Utilize Arist's application to upload a CSV file containing the initial employee data.

2. API Integration: Arist can make an API call to UKG Pro, using the credentials provided, to import existing data directly.

Steps to Establish Connection:

1. Gather UKG Pro API Credentials: To access your UKG Pro environment, we require:

   1. User name

   2. Password

   3. API url e.g., service.ultipro.com

   4. Customer API key

Building Your Sync Plan:

1. Define Data Fields: Select the UKG Pro data fields you wish to sync with Arist (including custom fields).

2. Sync Plan Development: Arist collaborates with you to create a "recipe" or syncing plan, ensuring proper mapping of UKG Pro data to Arist's fields.

3. Initial Sync and Activation: Arist activates the "recipe" and performs the initial data synchronization.

4. Review and Adjustments: Confirm the sync plan aligns with your needs. Modifications and additions to data fields can be made as required.

Grant Arist View Permissions

There are several permissions needed for all UKG HRIS integrations. These are the minimum requirements:

• View Access: Company Configuration Integration

• View Access: Personnel Integration

• View Access: Employee Person Details

• View Access: Employee Job History Details

• View Access: Employee Export

The set-up steps are guided by an Arist Integrations Engineer on a live calls with the UKG Pro Systems Administrator on the client end. This guide aims to explain and streamline the integration process, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup.
