Using the Instant Cadence for Your Course

Arist offers Admins and learners the option to take courses in a rapid-fire or self-paced manner. This is achieved by using the Instant Cadence on your Schedule.

When you take a course using the Instant Cadence, your response to each question will trigger the next lesson until you have made it through the entire course. If the lesson in a course doesn't have a question, just respond NEXT to continue.

This behaves in the same way as the Preview Course option for admins when creating courses. It allows a Learner to take a course as quickly as they want to. This is great for reviews and reinforcement.

Creating an Instant Cadence Schedule

  1. Once you have Created a Course that you want to share using the Instant Cadence, go to the Schedules Tab and click Create New:

  2. From there, give your new Schedule a name, select your course, preferred delivery methods and then under Cadence, choose Instant:

  3. From here, there is no need to set any other scheduling options since the course will be self-paced. Click Publish:

  4. Once you click publish, you can share your course as usual with all the Enrollment Options available to you:
